The small Thermo Scientific™ Heraeus™ Megafuge™ 8 benchtop centrifuge offers high capacity for its small footprint and is very user-friendly. It is available air-cooled or with refrigeration and is suitable for a wide range of clinical and research applications.

  • High capacity with small footprint: 8 x 50 ml conical tubes in swing-out rotor, 24 x 5/7ml blood collection tubes, 30 SpinColumns or up to 4 microtitre plates

  • Safe Auto-Lock™ rotor change at the touch of a button in just 3 seconds

  • Certified aerosol-tight ClickSeal™ lids - can be easily closed and opened with one hand even when wearing gloves

  • Very quiet operation (< 58 dBA with TX-150 rotor)

  • One-touch operation with programme memory and optional password protection

  • Highly visible display with backlight

  • Glove- and detergent-friendly control panel

  • Multilingual user interface

  • Meets the latest clinical standards and safety requirements such as UL and IVD

  • Temperature range of the cooled centrifuge 8R: -10 to 40 °C
